Tony founded Mid America Web in 1997 after working for his brother's
computer company and developing a passion for web design and development.
Tony received a certification in Web Development from St. Louis University
in 1998.
Tony loves all sports, spending time with his family, biking, golfing and
listening to oldies.
Charles Guthrie
Creative Director / Lead Developer
Charles has over a decade of professional web design and programming experience, earning his chops in startups and large corporations alike.
His interests include politics, philosophy, cartooning, chess, gaming, artificial intelligence, and linguistics.
His dream is to get a doctorate degree and become a curmudgeonly old professor in a Midwestern university.
Michael Monken
Project Manager, Web Designer
Michael graduated from Southwestern Illinois College in December 2007 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Web Development and Administration, plus two certifications.
Michael's biggest recreational hobby is bowling; in which he participates in several weekly leagues.
The sport that he loves the most is baseball, with the St. Louis Cardinals being his favorite team.
During his spare time he also enjoys fishing, reading, playing video games, and visiting with family and friends.
George Bassler

George has been working in the field of web design and data entry for years and has the amazing ability to turn random piles of scattered information into nicely organized data. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville.
Mark started designing web sites at the age of 14, since then he has built a multitude of websites from small businesses to large corporations. He has a passion for photography and can be seen at local St. Louis and Belleville, IL events as a photographer. During his down time he enjoys relaxing with his wife and 3 dogs. He also likes watching movies, playing flight simulator, listening to music, visiting the St. Louis zoo and barbequing.
Chris Burcham

Chris Burcham is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to the world of IT and computers. He can design and program websites, build computers and networks, and still has time to manage the IT department at Mid America Web. He runs LAN parties every month and is an avid gamer.
